We're hoping to collaborate with you to develop a lightweight tool that can help check if content meets Grade 8 reading level standards. Ideally, this tool would:

Analyze text and flag areas that are above Grade 8 level

Provide suggestions or tips to simplify complex wording

Possibly integrate with our current content workflow or work as a simple web-based checker

We’re imagining something like a plain language "spellcheck"—quick, helpful, and focused on clarity for the reader.
